This isn’t a fundraising email. It’s a NEW PETITION to save lab kittens! Congress is setting the VA’s budget right now. How they will vote is up to you. To receive fewer emails, please adjust your preferences.
Taxpayer, we are on the verge of completely ending kitten experimentation at the Dept. of Veterans Affairs (VA)… but we need your immediate advocacy to get the job done.
Several years ago, the White Coat Waste Project (WCW) first revealed how the VA wasted over $11 million abusing kittens in secretive experiments across the country.
Since then, you’ve helped us expose and close many of these labs.
But now, even more kittens' lives are on the line and subject to even more abusive experiments like those at VA labs in Louisville and Cleveland, including:
URGENT PETITION: Sign the official WCW petition right away to demand Congress end the FINAL cat experiments and adopt out all survivors before it’s too late.
Taxpayer, we must act now. Otherwise, there will be no survivors because the VA’s cruel white coats will kill each and every kitten… like Odie.
They sliced him open. Severed his spine. Manhandled his bladder. Then killed and threw him away like trash.
That was Odie’s fate.
With a massive outcry from taxpayers, we can pressure Congress to end these final experiments and give the survivors a second chance at life.
Taxpayer, I can say that with confidence because we’ve done it before. Your support for other WCW petitions directly helped us:
Taxpayer, the ‘Stokes Sisters’ spent most of their lives at a VA lab in Cleveland and were slated to be killed.
But then you and I got involved. Following WCW’s rapid response campaign, the VA's white coats set both kittens FREE – and now they’re living out the rest of their lives in loving homes.
We can do the same for the rest of the VA’s lab kittens, but not without your help again today.
Thanks in advance for your advocacy,
Desiree Bender Campaign Manager White Coat Waste Project |
P.S. Time-Sensitive Petition: Taxpayer, the VA’s annual budget is being set right now. When that budget gets to Capitol Hill, one of two things can happen. Congress can rubber-stamp the payout, and the cycle of kitten seizures and bloody urine will begin all over again. Or, if you sign our petition today, I will personally take it to Congress, show them grassroots support, and make them defund the cat labs. My sources tell me greedy lobbyists are twisting arms for even more money. Please sign!
