Today is Earth Day, so let’s revisit this email from Brian about climate change -- and what we can do about it. 

Brian helped pass the most significant climate bill in our country’s history to make sure we’re doing something about the biggest existential threat to our planet and our way of life. There’s so much more to do, and if we’re going to do it, then we need to elect more people like Brian who are serious about climate action. We owe that to future generations.

So while you take time today to go outside and appreciate nature and our environment, if you can, please also take a second to make a contribution to support our movement and our efforts to elect more climate champions across the country.

I know there are many different issues that are important to all of us, and you should know that I am always working to make progress on as many as possible. But the need for climate action is central to the work of this team.

Here’s the good news: We’re heading in the right direction. Thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act -- the biggest climate bill in U.S. history -- the clean-energy transformation is happening. It’s popular. And it’s profitable. (We’re creating good-paying green jobs while we make the shift to renewable energy.)

Of course, there’s a lot more to do -- that’s why we need to keep winning elections, keep electing climate champions, and defend our Senate majority next year.

Earth Day is later this month -- a reminder that it’s our responsibility to take care of our planet. Climate action isn’t just a policy priority or a talking point. It’s an obligation -- for all of us. 

Your contributions give us the resources to support Democrats who will fight for climate action and justice, and there are a bunch of candidates in tough races around the country who need our help. Will you chip in today?

We know what’s possible when we work together to enact the change our country needs. Let’s harness that and use it as motivation to get involved, fight for what we believe in, bring more people into our movement, and together, we can all demand more.
