John,
The expansiveness of deadly persecution of Christians across the globe is quite frankly ASTONISHING.
Recently a Christian pastor in Nigeria, Pastor Lawan, was savagely beheaded by the jihadist militia pledged to ISIS, Boko Haram.
It's heartbreaking and at the same time, it makes my blood boil.
In the same week, other jihadists in Nigeria ruthlessly attacked a Christian village, murdering two young Christian girls. Boko Haram continues to hold Christian teen Leah Sharibu hostage, demanding she recant her faith in Jesus. It has slaughtered and displaced thousands of Christians.
It is our sacred duty to defend dying Christians.
If we don't act, thousands of other Christians could be displaced, kidnapped, or horrifically murdered. At the ACLJ, we are engaged in our most expansive effort ever to defend Christians facing unthinkable atrocities. Today, we are submitting several written legal submissions to the United Nations, demanding action for the persecuted.
Today's submission on Nigeria specifically urges the U.N. to "prevent acts of genocide, not merely to respond to them." We must be the voice for our brothers and sisters in Christ.
As we battle to defend persecuted Christians across the globe - including directly at the U.N. - we need your support.
Donate Today to Defend Dying Christians.
