The corporate media cares about only one thing: making money. Friend,
It’s been eight years since Donald Trump launched his first campaign
for president, and the corporate media hasn’t learned a thing.
Just as in 2016, they’re again giving him wall-to-wall coverage,
elevating him to the front of the Republican presidential pack.
Live coverage of Donald Trump’s plane on the runway waiting to take
off. Breathless updates of Trump’s motorcade traveling through
Manhattan. Every move he makes and every absurd lie he tells takes over
the news cycle.
Meanwhile, you’ll hardly hear a word about the climate emergency,
global ecological collapse, soaring economic inequality, or a dozen
other critical issues facing the public.
The corporate media cares about only one thing: making money. Trump
drives ratings and ad sales, so it’s all Trump all the time, and that
will never change, no matter the damage to democracy.
