Dear Friend,
The idea that optimism is a moral choice has always resonated with me. So much of our motivation in life comes from the belief that tomorrow can be better than today, and that our future can be healthier, more equitable, and more sustainable than our past.
A couple of weeks ago I saw that type of optimism in action in Milwaukee, where local leaders, in partnership with the Clinton Foundation’s Too Small to Fail initiative, launched a “Family Read, Play & Learn” space in Milwaukee Family Court. This child-friendly space offers a welcoming, playful environment that includes educational resources promoting healthy early social-emotional development.
We need supporters like you to continue the important work of Too Small to Fail and our other programs. I’m asking for your help in the form of a $15 contribution to our 2020 Annual Fund.

Some people would say that being optimistic is naïve. I disagree. As a parent, I feel that being optimistic is my responsibility to my children because I so deeply want the world in which their generation grows up to be radically different in many ways from the world we’re living in right now. And for people who want that to be true, I believe we all need to play a part.
