Last night, we found out that the Supreme Court ruled to preserve full access to mifepristone, a safe and effective medication abortion pill, after a Trump-appointed federal judge tried to ban it.
This is an incredible victory for abortion access and the fight for reproductive freedom across America.
However, while last night’s Supreme Court ruling is a victory, let’s set the record straight: The fight to defend reproductive rights is far from over.
Politicians and judges have no place in our medical decisions – and the fate of bodily autonomy for women across the country should not fall to an ideologically-driven Court.
That’s why it’s critical that we begin to build up the resources we need to take back the House Majority and codify Roe, once and for all.
With the extreme Republican national abortion ban still looming, I have to ask: Will you donate today to help pro-choice Democrats, like me, reclaim the Majority in 2024 and codify the right to choose for women across the country?
