John, I don’t want to leave behind an Arizona that is unrecognizable from what we know and love today for our next generation.  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌  ͏‌ ͏‌ ͏‌

Happy Earth Day, John!

If you know me, you know I love being outside. Hiking is one of my favorite hobbies, and Arizona offers so many beautiful places to explore.

That’s why on this Earth Day, I’m thinking about our commitment to protecting this planet and our gorgeous trails and parks in Arizona.

To put it simply: We can not sit back and let erosion, pollution, and other forces chip away at our planet’s natural resources and landscapes.

Rising temperatures, drought, and other extreme weather events are becoming more common due to the effects of climate change, and if we don’t take action soon, it’s only going to get worse.

John, I don’t want to leave behind an Arizona that is unrecognizable from what we know and love for future generations.

That’s why I’m working now to preserve our environment and secure our clean-energy future.

As part of my Creating a Resilient Arizona initiative, I put together a cabinet of environmental experts to help address issues like our water crisis, preserve our state’s natural resources, and create a future-proof clean-energy economy to not only protect our planet but create new jobs for Arizonans.

My commitment to our planet doesn’t stop there, John. I’m calling for bipartisan action to address climate issues that can not be ignored — like Arizona’s water crisis.

Add your name today to join me in demanding our state legislature take action to secure Arizona’s water future and build a more sustainable, renewable future for our planet.

Thank you for raising concerns with me about climate change. We only have one planet, and it’s up to us to take these issues seriously and take meaningful action to address them.
