Thousands of people demanded change
The Big One at Houses of Parliament 21-24 April

Hi John

Today, tens of thousands of people came to Westminster to demand a better future. We celebrated all that we love. We mourned all that we have lost. Most of all, we demanded change.

It was an incredible moment. A massive, diverse group came together because they know that this is the most important thing we can do right now to shape a better future.

The work is not done

It’s not just the scale of The Big One that makes it different. It is that we keep coming back - we keep showing up. That is why we are back in Westminster tomorrow and the next day.

Tomorrow we head to the Home Office because climate justice and migrant justice are one. We will make 20,000 pink origami boats to be posted to MPs and Home Secretary Suella Braverman. Gather at 4:30pm at Parliament Square.

Come to Westminster to protest, learn and connect from 9am. And share your ideas about what comes next at the Big DIY Assembly at 3pm.

Love and rage,

Extinction Rebellion UK

PS The London Marathon and The Big One will coexist side by side. Let’s give the runners our full support as they pass by!
