This Cemetery Attendant role is an opportunity for a talented person who will undertake and lead a wide range of activities in a highly sensitive area providing services to the bereaved across two cemetery sites including grounds maintenance, security of buildings and sites, developing environmental initiatives, working with volunteers and?building strong links with local communities using the Cemetery service and visiting our sites. ?

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
?
? Ability to work with own initiative and limited supervision
? Ability to deal tactfully with visitors whose actions breach Cemetery rules and regulations
? Ability to show care and consideration when officiating at Burials and Cremations ensuring the needs of different faith groups are met
? Ability to use communication equipment
? Knowledge and experience of complying with Health and Safety requirements to ensure the safety of self, colleagues and public
? To have capability to access all areas of the Cemetery sites and to undertake basic grounds maintenance duties ? ? ?
