Happy Earth Day, team!

As a lifelong Granite Stater I have never taken for granted the natural beauty and resources that New Hampshire has to offer. I believe our environment should be a priority every day — not just one day a year.

Team, you can't live in a state as beautiful as New Hampshire and not know the value of our natural resources. New Hampshire’s way of life and economy are rooted in our natural surroundings. That's why I'm committed to protecting our planet and fighting for safe water and clean air in the House.

Just this year I was proud to help secure federal funding that will allow New Hampshire to make much-needed investments to protect drinking water, update old infrastructure, and improve wastewater services. I also helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and the Inflation Reduction Act, which have critical provisions to protect our environment.

Here's the bottom line, team: We must address the threat of climate change head-on, protect our air and drinking water, and preserve our natural environment for future generations.

It's up to us on Earth Day, and every day, to take action to protect our planet. Today, I hope you'll join me in recommitting to protecting our environment and the planet we all share.
