Fellow Democrats,

Darren Bailey — the self-proclaimed “Trump of Illinois” who called abortion worse than the Holocaust — lost his 2022 election for Governor by nearly half a million votes.

Now, he’s reportedly on the brink of running again, this time for Congress!

In case you needed more reminders of Bailey’s extremism, here are just a few:

- He has repeatedly supported radical, complete abortion bans, with NO exception for cases of rape and incest.

- He gave his support for and even participated in a workshop to help extremists running for school board make our schools look like Florida’s, with reactionary mandates and ignorant book bans.

- He launched a private religious school with textbooks that teach students "God regulated but did not forbid slavery" and instructed them to explain the “strengths” of counting slaves as three-fifths of a person, without giving them any rights.

- He publicly refused to comply with even the most basic gun violence prevention laws.
