Hi John, it's
activist, author, and actress Jane Fonda.

Today is Earth Day, so I wanted to personally reach out to tell you about
the critical work Summer Lee is doing in Congress to take on corporate
polluters, fight for environmental justice, confront the climate crisis,
and guarantee clean air and water for ALL.

Summer made history in November when she was elected Pennsylvania's first
Black Congresswoman. Now, she needs our support to stay in Congress
fighting for the critical protections our Earth needs. [ [link removed] ]On this Earth

Over the last few years, I've dedicated my life to addressing the climate
crisis. I moved to Washington, D.C. in 2019 and was arrested outside of
the Capitol over and over again protesting the government's inaction. Last
year, I founded the Jane Fonda Climate PAC to support candidates who will
tackle the climate crisis at its roots — our reliance on fossil fuels.

Like me, Summer isn't afraid to speak truth to power or ruffle a few
feathers to do what needs to be done. On any given day, Western PA suffers
from some of the poorest air quality in the nation. That's why Summer has
fought against dangerous fracking proposals as an organizer and State
Representative.

In Congress, Summer is working to ensure everyone has access to clean air
and safe drinking water. She supports a Green New Deal and legislative
action to tackle environmental racism and campaign finance reform to
ensure that the fossil fuel industry cannot continue to buy our
politicians.

thrilled to once again offer my support. So, I'm humbly asking you: Will
