John,
Google promised to stop tracking and storing location data for abortion
seekers – but the trillion dollar tech empire lied.
Now millions in need of reproductive care in the US are at imminent risk
as prosecutors in anti-abortion states are weaponizing this data to lock
them up.
We have to urgently fight back – the US is tumbling backwards on abortion
rights and Google's surveillance is fueling the flames. Let's raise a
global outcry now, and protect the data of millions of people seeking
reproductive care:

A new investigation found that Google is continuing to collect and retain
location data from individuals visiting abortion clinics despite their
announcement last year that they would immediately stop.
Google fooled us once, but we won’t allow it to happen again
This threatens the privacy and bodily autonomy of millions seeking
reproductive health care in 24 US states where abortions are banned or
expected to be banned.
The consequences are real as prosecutors are doing everything they can to
use this sensitive data as ammunition to arrest even the most vulnerable,
and Google has a track record of sharing data with law enforcement 80% of
the time.
Profit-hungry Google executives are reminding us that they could care less
about the safety and security of their users as long as it benefits their
bottom line. We must urgently fight back and help protect millions of
people from this dangerous crackdown on reproductive rights:
