Tonight, the Supreme Court ruled that Mifepristone will stay legal and available to people across the country, for now, at least. 

Though the threat remains clear, this is a win for women and reproductive rights everywhere.

As someone who has lobbied with Planned Parenthood, I know firsthand the importance of protecting reproductive rights and ensuring access to safe, legal abortion care. 

This is not just politics, it's about ensuring that individuals can make their own decisions about their bodies and their futures. Virginia’s now a beacon of hope for reproductive rights in the South, where other states are imposing harsh abortion restrictions, and the stakes in this year’s elections are enormous.
