On the cusp of history in Iowa:

John,

Today's the day! After months (if not years!) of attending political rallies and listening to the candidates make their appeals, Iowa voters will finally caucus tonight. And this Caucus is particularly special: for the first time in American history, an openly LGBTQ candidate will appear on the ballot. Here at Victory Fund, we're so excited for Pete and can't wait to watch as he claims victory in Iowa tonight. But don't just take it from me. Watch Victory Fund President & CEO Mayor Annise Parker tell you:

As Mayor Parker said, no matter who you're rooting for and no matter the outcome, take a moment today to remember how far the LGBTQ community has come. There's a lot to celebrate - and a lot more LGBTQ candidates to elect. Chip in today to help us make even more history.

We'll be in touch with more updates,

Elliot Imse

LGBTQ Victory Fund has helped thousands of openly LGBTQ candidates win elections up and down the ballot, from sea to shining sea since our founding in 1991. We believe representation is power – so we elected U.S. Senators Tammy Baldwin and Kyrsten Sinema, Governors Jared Polis and Kate Brown, all seven LGBTQ members of U.S. Congress and countless candidates for state and local government, including Virginia Delegate Danica Roem, Colorado state Representative Leslie Herod and Pennsylvania Assemblymember Brian Sims. And with an unprecedented number of LGBTQ people running for office in this year, we’ll need your support to make 2020 the next Rainbow Wave.
