The Supreme Court has decided to keep full access to mifepristone until the appeals case is reviewed by the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals. Oral Arguments will start on May 17th, but it might be a long time before this is settled. No matter who wins, there will be an appeal to SCOTUS.

SO FOR NOW, medication abortion, which has always been safe, remains legal and ACCESSIBLE BY MAIL. It also means providers won’t have to switch gears or compromise their patients’ wellbeing because some skidmark in Texas said so! And it means that we can all breathe a little easier knowing that our rights are being protected, and it also means we’re having margaritas tonight.

What Do You Do Now? We HAVE to fight back against these restrictive measures, and there’s lots to be done. Email congress RIGHT NOW to tell them to kick those crusty old Comstock Laws to the curb. Make your voice heard!

Get your hands dirty and get involved with our online activist trainings at Operation Save Abortion. The Activist Calendar has events and opportunities for every capacity. It’s a long fight and we’re going to need you!
