Hi Friend,

On Friday, the Supreme Court weighed in on the baseless lawsuit attempting to take Mifepristone, a medication abortion pill, off the market and make it unavailable everywhere in the U.S. Fortunately, they ruled that access to Mifepristone should remain unchanged - meaning it should stay available - while the entirety of the court case plays out.

It's a bittersweet feeling that we had to be on edge at all about whether clear science and common sense would matter to the justices on our highest court. We should never be in a position where judges are deciding whether people can get safe, effective medicines. But bottom line, every day that people have access to safe and effective options for abortion care is a good day and we'll have a little extra pep in our step this weekend.

While we are breathing a sigh of relief today, there is still work that needs to be done as the case continues in lower courts. Here’s how you can help:

Take one minute to sign this petition asking the Biden-Harris administration to do everything in their power to keep medication abortion accessible. This attack on Mifepristone is far from over and we're going to need to keep them engaged in the fight.
