PLANNED PARENTHOOD
Breaking (good) news! The Supreme Court just issued a stay in the medication abortion case. This means that access to mifepristone remains — for now.

The threat to this essential medication is far from over. The Supreme Court has not permanently protected FDA approval of mifepristone. Today's ruling means that patients will not be cut off while the challenge continues through the federal court system.

Take a moment to celebrate — and then speak out to protect mifepristone access. Sign the People's Brief to demand that mifepristone remain a safe, accessible option for medication abortion.

The truth is, access to mifepristone shouldn't be up for debate. It's an effective medication with a proven track record of safety. With tonight's stay, patients will be able to continue to rely on mifepristone for now — just as they've been doing for decades.

While today's Supreme Court move is good news, patients and health care providers shouldn't be at the mercy of the court system.

Planned Parenthood will continue to fight so that everyone can make their own decisions about their bodies, lives, and futures. It's good to know you're with us.

Sincerely,

Planned Parenthood
