John, the paths to taking back the House, keeping the Senate blue, and electing a Democratic president all run through Pennsylvania. With that in mind, we have good news and bad news.
First, the good news: According to recent reporting, young people in Pennsylvania are voting at higher rates than ever before!
Compared to 2014, the proportion of young people in Pennsylvania who voted in last year's midterm elections increased by over 250 percent.
Now, the bad news: Despite this record turnout, only a fraction of all eligible voters under 30 cast a ballot in the last election!
In fact, voter turnout among Pennsylvanians over 30 was nearly double the turnout among younger voters.
If we can mobilize young voters to participate at the same rate as the general population, we can reshape the electorate, make our voices heard, and elect leaders who reflect our values. Will you donate now to help us reach new voters in battleground states like Pennsylvania? ([link removed])
Our grassroots movement at Voto Latino has a proven track record of getting young people registered to and mobilized to vote.
Supporters like you have helped us register more than one million voters over the past decade — and independent analysis shows that about 75 percent of those we register turn out to cast a ballot. Every $24 we raise helps us reach another potential voter in a battleground state. Will you pitch in now to power our work?
