The facts are sobering. This past year has been one of the worst ever for scores of species -- including wild bees and gray wolves -- as well as for climate change.
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change just gave the world its strongest warning that there is absolutely no time left to delay action on climate change. If we don’t act now, more areas of the planet will become unlivable. Extreme weather events will become more common. And the degradation of our ice caps and forests could tip us into increasing rates of global warming.
In short, we don’t have much time left before complete ecological disaster.
