John: It’s Friday so I’ll be brief.
By now you know that Sam Liccardo is taking steps to run against me in this next election. For the first time in a long time, I have to really focus on raising funds for my own race.
It's not what I want to be doing right now — and I hate asking for help for myself — but there's no getting around it right now. We are quickly coming up against the month-end reporting deadline and still are a ways from where we need to be to stay on track.
