We have 9 days left in April to get as close to our goal as possible.

Hey there!

It’s Emily from the Fair Fight Action team. As the Development Director, my job is to track our fundraising every day of the year so we can plan our investments and fund our programs to protect the freedom to vote. That means I get to see the small-dollar contributions we receive from emails like this one translate into tangible resources like volunteer training and voter education materials. But the not-so-fun part of my job is letting the team know when we’re tracking behind on our goals.

Most organizations won’t be this transparent with you, but we want to give you a behind-the-scenes look into our fundraising this month. Those peaks in the bar graph are what we needed to raise every day in April in order to hit our goal. Unfortunately, we’ve been coming up short.

Now’s our moment to lay the groundwork to protect the freedom to vote in the next election cycle. Extremists have already introduced over 370 voter suppression bills in 47 states this year — and we need to make sure we have the resources now to fight back and ensure that these insidious efforts don’t impact the 2024 elections.

If we fall behind on this April goal, we might not be able to secure all the resources we need for the busy summer organizing months ahead — like volunteer training supplies, educational materials to combat voting disinformation, and online ads to raise awareness about everyone’s rights as a voter.

We have 9 days left in April to get as close to our goal as possible and provide the resources we need to lay that groundwork. Will you rush a donation right away?

DONATE

I definitely understand when supporters need to take a break from giving. We’re so thankful for everyone in this community, no matter how much or how often you give. And if you are in a place to make a contribution today — it will go a long, long way.

Thanks so much for all you do!

Emily
