Hi team,

Since we’re about three months into Josh’s campaign for Governor, I thought I’d give you a glance into what my days on the trail look like. Well, it’s always different!

I have more to say, so I hope you’ll read this email to the end, but I wouldn’t be a good finance director if I didn’t take this opportunity to ask you to support us. Josh and I truly appreciate every single donation we receive — we’re only able to keep our work up because of your support.

There are days I do a lot of staring at screens, crunching numbers, and reading up on the latest you-know-what the NC GOP is up to. There are days I barely have a second to check my email because I’m talking on the phone all day. And I have spent so much time in the car with Josh driving around North Carolina.

I’ve gotten to know him pretty well on those drives, team, and I’m more convinced than ever that he’s the right person to move North Carolina forward in the face of a Republican Party that is fully committed to dragging us backward.

Josh is a fighter for our most fundamental rights — reproductive freedom, access to the ballot box, and civil rights for all. He’s determined to improve our public schools, defend our democracy from attack, ensure everyone can access the health care they need, and expand opportunity for all North Carolinians. Together, we will make his vision for NC a reality.

But if we lose this critical race, team, that’s the whole game. The NC GOP will use their unfettered power to attack vulnerable communities, roll back our voting rights, ban abortion, and otherwise undo all the progress we’ve made. We can’t let that happen.
