Another state has joined the fight

The State of Alabama has now joined the ever-growing list of states fighting to pass the FairTax in their State. They have correctly determined that what would be good for the country will be good for their state and their citizens.

Alabama legislators have filed state FairTax legislation that will be taken up in the upcoming Alabama legislative session. By doing so, Alabama is sending a message to the Swamp that change is coming and that their ability to reward people who pay them for income tax benefits at our expense is coming to an end!

Alabama Representative Holmes explains how the “never-ending maze of tax exemptions, deductions, and credits” is manipulated by lobbyists and politicians to benefit those groups who pay them the most. This is not possible in Alabama with the passage of the FairTax.

Supporters of the FairTax want to give each of us control over our own money and not have to take the scraps left after the Swamp and the politicians reward their friends.

Our goal is to pass the FairTax and eliminating the income tax, payroll taxes, income tax returns and the IRS.

Politicians believe that it is ok for them to take advantage of the income tax code and Social Security and Medicare taxes--but it is greedy if the the rest of us ask for the same benefits. Recently, articles asserted that Joe Biden and his wife avoided $500,000 in Social Security and Medicare taxes just over the past couple years using income tax provisions reserved for the wealthy.

Remember, the reduced taxes paid by politicians like the Biden's are made up by you and me. We pay the taxes that they avoid paying.
