Hi John,
Federal bureaucrats will take billions more from taxpayers if you stay on the sidelines.
Thousands of your fellow Canadian taxpayers have already pushed back against government union negotiators. But they need you to join the fight.
Federal bureaucrats just went on strike.
They’re demanding up to 47 per cent compensation increase over three years, costing taxpayers like you $9.3 billion. That’s according to the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat.
They want to be paid more to work past 4 p.m. They want four weeks of vacation after working for four years. They want two weeks of paid time off on top of their vacation days.
They want more money from you for their union-controlled social justice fund. The government union uses the social justice fund to engage in “advocacy for progressive public policy.”
They’ve used the social justice fund to send members to climate conferences in Madrid and Cancun. And they’ve used the social justice fund to advocate for higher business taxes. You shouldn’t be paying for their advocacy.
They want you to pay for their unaffordable demands or they won’t show up to work.
You can join the fight to get a fair deal for taxpayers. The first step is to sign the online PETITION: https://www.taxpayer.com/petitions/make-federal-government-pay-fair-for-taxpayers
Thanks for fighting for taxpayers – it’s making a difference!
Sincerely,
- Franco, Todd, Shannon and the CTF team
