Oklahoma,
I hope you’re having a great week. Before we get you caught up on what’s been happening, I’d like to take a moment to thank our first responders and pray for everyone who has been impacted by Wednesday’s devastating storms. Earlier today, I visited with residents, local officials, and emergency personnel in both Shawnee and Cole to survey damage and extend our support. My office stands ready to help in any way we can.
At the absolute worst times, we see the best of Oklahoma – that’s the Oklahoma Standard. Thank you to all who have lent a helping hand to our neighbors in need. As we continue to come together to support our community, here are a few updates I'd like to share with you.

I always say, if we could bring more of Oklahoma’s values to Washington, we’d be in much better shape. That’s why I was proud to host so many of my fellow Oklahomans in D.C. for our first ever Cowboy Coffee. It was an honor to hear from all of you about the issues closest to your communities. As your Senator, I want to always represent Oklahoma’s best interests – and my office is always open to you. It’s my hope that we’ll all get the chance to sit across the table from each other, over a cup of coffee, and discuss what you’d like to see out of Washington. Until that day comes, know that my office is here and always ready to listen, support, and serve.

As you may have seen, I recently wrapped up a big statewide tour of Western Oklahoma where I had the opportunity to meet with residents and businesses, answer questions, and learn their issues. Representing the entire state of Oklahoma is an honor and a privilege, and it’s a responsibility that I do not take lightly. I got the chance to visit some of our proud military bases, cutting-edge health facilities, innovative schools & universities, and to speak with so many of you statewide. I’m already counting down the days until we can do it again.
I spoke about my tour in today’s Weekly Wrap Up which you can watch by clicking the link below. And to check out some footage from Boise City, Guymon, Woodward, Beaver, Laverne, Shattuck, Lawton, and Altus, click HERE.

Yesterday, I questioned President Biden’s Secretary of Labor nominee, Julie Su, during a Senate Health, Education, Labor, and Pensions (HELP) Committee hearing. It's really simple – if you've never been an employer, balanced a budget, or signed both sides of a paycheck, you have no business being the next Secretary of Labor. Su’s lack of business experience reveals her ignorance of what it takes to hire and support the labor force across our country.

The Veterans Health Care Act of 1992 explicitly prohibits the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) from providing abortion services. Taxpayer dollars should never be used to fund abortions. Period. I was proud to support Senator Tommy Tuberville's resolution to fight the Biden VA’s overreaching illegal rule providing unrestricted, taxpayer-funded abortions. As the father of six amazing children, three of whom came into our lives through the blessing of adoption, the fight to preserve the dignity of life is a personal one. In the Senate, I will always fight to protect the most voiceless among us – the unborn.
