The Texas Tribune just reported, team:

Ground Game Texas’s Proposition A initiative in San Antonio “represents a critical moment for the long-mounting struggle between deeply conservative state government and heavily Democratic big cities.”

Our San Antonio Justice Charter, also known as Proposition A, would decriminalize abortion—the first abortion initiative in Texas since Roe was overturned. It would also decriminalize marijuana, end police chokeholds and no-knock warrants, and prioritize citations instead of arrests for non-violent crimes.

But as the Texas Tribune reports, our opponents “have had a massive financial advantage so far.” That’s why we’re counting on folks like you to help us make sure it passes. Can you chip in $25, or whatever you can, to help us Get Out The Vote? [[link removed]]

Chip In! >> [[link removed]]

Team, we knew what we were up against when we launched this initiative. We’re being massively outspent by the local police union, who wants no accountability for police officers. But we’re also up against anti-abortion activists who want to protect Texas’s complete ban on abortion.

That’s why we need support from everyday folks like you who want to bring progressive change to Texas. This is our first opportunity to pass an abortion initiative in Texas since Roe was overturned—can you chip in to help make sure it passes? [[link removed]]

Together, we can once again deliver progressive change to Texas.

Thank you,

Ground Game Texas
