Next KCYD Meeting
Our next KCYD meeting will be a joint social gathering with YDWA at Rachel’s Ginger Beer in Capitol Hill (1610 12th Ave, Seattle, WA 98122) from 5:00pm to 6:00pm. This meeting will be a social hour for everyone to come by and chat with fellow young Democrats from across the county. Feel free to come by and bring a friend for a fun evening!
April 25th Special Election
By now you should’ve received a ballot for the April 25th Special Election, which is King County Proposition 1, the Crisis Care Centers Levy. If approved, this proposition would fund behavioral health services and capital facilities, including a countywide crisis care centers network, increased residential treatment; mobile crisis care; post-discharge stabilization; and workforce support. Ballots must be postmarked or dropped in a King County Elections collection box by Tuesday, April 25th at 8 PM.

YDWA Convention (Spokane, WA) - Friday, May 19th to Sunday, May 21st
Every year the chapters of the Young Democrats of Washington gather for Convention. YDWA offers a schedule of events jam-packed with workshops, panels, and info sessions. Attendees also have fun getting to hang out for the weekend, and enjoy hearing speakers from throughout the political world!

YDA Convention (Las Vegas, NV) - Sunday, June 18th to Wednesday, June 21st
The Young Democrats of Washington are excited to be going to Las Vegas for the 2023 Young Democrats of America National Convention from June 18-21, 2023. The host hotel will be the MGM Grand right in the heart of the Las Vegas Strip.
