Meet Minister Evans Moore! Evans is the new Regional Organizing Director in Allegheny County for the New Pennsylvania Project. A lifelong resident of the City of Pittsburgh, Evans understands the importance of people participating in our political processes, especially voting. He is passionate about motivating and moving people into public policy discussions that impact our everyday lives. He has held many positions in the non-profit advocacy arena and joined NPP after serving as a Program Field Coordinator for the NAACP Legal Defense and Education Fund.

Having a deep commitment to social justice; he is guided by the notion that our democracy is better served when all voices are heard, and more people get civically involved. An avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan he resides in Pittsburgh with his wife, one of five children (four are adults), and his beloved American Bully.

2023 Appellate Courts Candidates' Forum

When: Tuesday, May 9 6:00pm on Zoom

 

Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts will host a forum with candidates for Pennsylvania's appellate courts, including the Supreme Court, Superior Court, and Commonwealth Court. This event will provide viewers with an opportunity to get to know the candidates through a moderated forum. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions for the candidates.
