John,

Today, I’m thrilled to announce I’ve submitted proposals for more than $30 million in federal grants for community project funding across New Mexico’s 2nd District!

I’m requesting $31.4 million to fund 15 projects across NM-02, including improving access to clean drinking water, supporting law enforcement, and keeping New Mexicans safe during natural disasters. From Isleta Pueblo to Carlsbad to Columbus, I’m working to bring much-needed federal dollars to improve our communities.

I believe our budget is a statement of our values, which is why I’m fighting for NM-02’s fair share to improve our infrastructure and more.

But do you want to know how much community project funding former far-right Rep. Yvette Herrell brought to NM-02 during her tenure? $0.

That’s not a typo. She proposed $0 in community project funding in her two years in Congress. Does that sound like a representative who’s working for you?

Herrell is trying to take this seat back from us next November with the help of Kevin McCarthy, Donald Trump, and dark money super-PACs. As I continue to fight for our rights and bring investment to NM-02, will you pitch in $10 or more to support our grassroots campaign?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
$10 $25 $50
$75 $100 Other

Thank you for empowering me to serve you and fight for what NM-02 deserves.

— Gabe
