BJS seeks applications for fiscal year 2023 funding to develop, collect, analyze, and disseminate the 2024 Census of State and Federal Adult Correctional Facilities. This program gathers critical criminal justice data from state and federal prisons and provides these data to support innovative strategies to handle the challenges confronting the justice system.
Applications will be submitted in a two-step process, each with its own deadline:
- Step 1: Submit an SF-424 and an SF-LLL in Grants.gov. Grants.gov forms are due on June 21, 2023, by 8:59 p.m. ET.
- Step 2: Submit the full application including attachments in JustGrants.usdoj.gov. The full JustGrants application is due on June 28, 2023, by 8:59 p.m. ET.
