John, we see the impact of climate change all around us, and I know many of us are doing what we can to limit our own footprint while also urging our country’s leaders to do more. Thank you for being part of the solution.
As an engineer and co-chair of the bipartisan Congressional Climate Solutions Caucus, I know government and industry can come together to rescue our planet from climate change's more disastrous effects. Last year, I was proud to vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act – the most impactful climate change mitigation legislation in history – but we all know there is more work to be done.
I hope you’ll join me this Earth Day in recommitting ourselves to doing just a little bit more. There are events all across our community: an Earth Day Festival at the Upper Main Line YMCA, an Earth Day clean up in Phoenixville, an Earth Day Fair at Happy Hollow Playground in Wyomissing, and more. I wish you, John, a hopeful and meaningful Earth Day.
Will you take a second to join our poll? Before our live poll closes at 11:59 p.m., will you let me know:
Should all new passenger vehicles sold be electric by 2040?
