URGENT: A recent court ruling could restrict abortion access in states across the country. Add your name by midnight tonight to tell the Senate: Stand with Amy in the fight to protect reproductive freedom >> [[link removed]]
Mifepristone is used in more than half of the abortions in the United States and has been on the market for more than 20 years.
But now, a shocking court ruling out of Texas could ban mifepristone in states across the country, including in states where abortion is legal. This is a dangerous attack on reproductive choice -- and Amy is speaking out.
“One judge in Texas should not be able to decide if women across the country can get the care they need. This is an outrageous decision and the women of America deserve better.”
-- Senator Amy Klobuchar
Tell the Senate: Stand with Amy and protect reproductive freedom
GOAL: 5,000 signatures by midnight tonight. Add your name >> [[link removed]]
This is just another example of extremists trying to take away a woman’s right to make her own health care decisions -- and they will not stop until they have put in place a nationwide ban on abortion.
Amy believes these choices should be made by women with their families and their doctors, not politicians. That’s why she’s fighting to protect reproductive freedom at the national level, and she’s called on the Senate to codify Roe v. Wade into law.
We want to show that Amy’s grassroots movement supports her fight to defend reproductive rights. Will you add your name to help us reach 5,000 signatures by midnight tonight?
