By now you know that Justice Clarence Thomas was exposed for accepting tens of millions of dollars in gifts, trips, vacations, and access to events by one of the largest Republican mega-donors and failing to disclose it under Ethics law.

We should be outraged.

Time and time again, Clarence Thomas has proven to be unfair and unfit to sit on our country’s highest court. From sexual assault allegations to his wife Ginny Thomas having partaken in the January 6th insurrection and spreading election fraud misinformation, we’ve seen him disrespect his role as a Supreme Court Justice and abuse his power.

Simply put, Clarence Thomas is a threat to our democracy and Congress must act now to hold him accountable.

It’s no secret that over the last few years, we have seen the extreme politicization of the Supreme Court. From the overturning of Roe v. Wade to the weakening of the EPA, conservative justices on the court are no longer using their power to uphold the rights and freedoms of Americans as guaranteed by the Constitution. Instead, they are using their unlimited and unchecked power to merely become politicians in robes.

Ethics are at the very foundation of the United States Supreme Court, and Clarence Thomas has put them aside time and time again.

He has participated in cases where he was in a clear conflict of interest, his wife has overtly supported false election fraud claims, and even participated in the insurrection on the U.S. Capitol, a symbol of our democracy. Now he has now been found to have essentially taken bribes from right-wing millionaires and clearly violated ethics laws.

Clarence Thomas has repeatedly undermined the integrity of our judicial system, reduced its credibility time and time again, and chosen personal interests over democracy.

So please join us in calling on Congress to hold Justice Clarence Thomas accountable. No one should be above the law.
