We wanted to take some time to show you how VoteVets moves the needle in competitive races.

To put it simply, it comes down to trust. And if you have a minute, we hope you’ll let us explain.

VoteVets supports Veterans who run for public office. A great example is Senator Mark Kelly. Mark isn’t just an astronaut — he’s a Navy Veteran and a trained engineer. He served for 25 years, and he flew into combat in Desert Storm. Now he serves Arizona in the Senate.

The Military is the most trusted institution in the United States, and one of the big reasons for that is serving in the military means putting the country before yourself.

That means something to people. And when candidates like Mark run in competitive races, people gravitate towards them. They trust that they will put the country first in public life, too.
