John, School Choice means no child is deprived of a
quality education and ALL parents may choose the best option for their children.
In 2022, 88% of Republican Primary voters supported school choice where money follows the student to the public or private
school of their choice. Of the 254 counties in Texas, the least support was 80%, and some of the strongest support came from the most rural
counties. |

Rarely is an issue this easy of a slam dunk. Broad majorities both across the aisle and across the state support it. Please e-mail and
call your Texas House member today and encourage them to empower parents and students by supporting school choice.
A UT-Tyler poll in March found that 60% of
Texas voters (including 46% of Democrats and 62% of Independents) support education freedom.
Despite this overwhelming support, 24 Republicans in the Texas House voted with Democrats to defund ANY form of school choice on a
version of the Texas budget. Texans want school choice that
empowers families, not bureaucrats, and it’s time for our legislators to deliver!
Together, we will make a difference for the future of our children and our state.
