This Week: At A Glance

Monday marked 100 days of the 118th Congress! It was a good opportunity for our women to highlight what they have worked on and accomplished so far.

Tuesday was Tax Day. Rep. Michelle Steel (CA-45), a member of House Ways and Means, spoke on the floor about her bill to roll back plans to hire 87,000 new IRS employees. You can watch her remarks here.

Wednesday was a busy day of constituent meetings on Capitol Hill for Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) and Reps. Young Kim (CA-40), Lori Chavez-DeRemer (OR-05), and Ashley Hinson (IA-02).

Thursday, Winning For Women hosted Rep. Stephanie Bice (OK-05) for a candid and thoughtful conversation with female Hill reporters. Rep. Bice talked about her work on paid family leave, efforts to elect more female Republicans, and her own path to Congress.
