Remember Kevin McCarthy?

That's right — the same Kevin McCarthy who lost 14 votes in a row to become Speaker of the House, and launched bigoted attacks against Ilhan to kick her off the House Foreign Affairs Committee earlier this year?

Well, he's gotten back to work this week with his new debt ceiling proposal ahead of this summer's deadline. Check it out:

Here's just part of what the GOP leadership's proposal would do:

Take away food stamps
Kick millions off health insurance
Make it easier for billionaires to dodge taxes
Block student loan forgiveness
Kill over 100,000 green jobs
Cut COVID-19 pandemic relief

McCarthy and his billionaire friends have already made it clear that Ilhan is one of their top-priority targets this campaign cycle, and now they're planning to hold the global economy hostage to attack our movement's progressive agenda.

The truth is that this is all just the beginning.

We have to be ready for the attacks to come, and do everything we can between now and Election Day to elect as many progressives as possible, all across the country.

Doing that takes a LOT of resources, and the only way we fund our grassroots movement is by standing together. That's why we're asking:
