Hi John
Our VOTE PRO-LIFE Campaign is now well under way. Our phones are ringing off the hook with people calling to ask for our new leaflets. They are already distributing 100s of leaflets among their families, friends, churches, and around their local community.
Everyone has commented on how beautiful Baby Niall and his mother Helen look on the front of the leaflet.
It's vital that we "vote pro-life" in this Election.to show the Political Parties that we will never give our vote to any candidate who will not protect the right to life of unborn babies.
Parties who voted to kill babies like little Niall with Downâs Syndrome have the audacity to ask you to vote for their candidates. If a candidate will not stand up for protecting the right to life of unborn babies in all circumstances, they cannot be considered suitable for public office â no matter how appealing their other policies may be. If a candidate is unwilling to protect the life of a little baby in the womb, how can they respect your value and dignity as a human being?Â
Send out a clear pro-life message to the Alliance Party, Green Party, Sinn Féin, SDLP, Ulster Unionist Party and People Before Profit by VOTING ONLY for Pro-Life Candidates on Thursday 18th May 2023.
Contact us TODAY to request our Vote Pro-Life Campaign leaflets. We will send you as many as you need to distribute in you local area. Give us a call on 02890278484 or email us at [email protected]. â...When I discovered I was pregnant I googled âabortion clinics in Irelandâ and the BPAS number came up. So I rang and they booked me an abortion at the Belfast abortion centre. I was in a terrible state, I had no one to talk to, and no other choice but to have an abortion. The father of my baby had rejected me, he didnât want our baby and my family made it clear that they wouldnât be supporting me if I continued with the pregnancy. My appointment was booked for 9.00am on a Thursday morning. I had been told by BPAS that there would be protesters outside the clinic. They said I was best to ignore them.
So as you can imagine I was a bit worried about this but I was still determined to go ahead with the abortion. I just kept telling myself, âyou have no other choice, abortion is your only option.â So on the Thursday morning I arrived at the abortion clinic at 8.50am. As I approached the door, a woman standing outside offered me a leaflet. She said she could help me and that she would be there for me. I didnât know whether to run in the door or run away. But the woman was so nice, and I knew from the look on her face that she did really care about me. She was the first person who said she would be there for me. I was alone, and all those who wanted me to have the abortion didnât even care enough to come to the clinic with me. I was so overwhelmed with the womanâs kindness that I started to cry, and through my tears I told her that I had no choice other than to abort this baby. But deep down, I knew I didnât want an abortion. The woman told me, âyou donât have do this, we can help.â
Then the door of the clinic opened and I went in, with tears rolling down my face. The security man directed me where to go. I was asked for my name and told to sit in the waiting area. By this stage my head was buzzing and my heart was breaking. When my name was called I decided I would speak to the doctor and share my concerns and fears. But while speaking to the doctor, I soon realised she didnât care. I knew I was in the wrong place so I got up and left. When I went outside, the woman Iâd spoke to earlier handed me another leaflet and told me to call the helpline number. I called the very next day and within a few hours I met with an advisor from Stanton who booked me in for an ultrasound scan.
Â
When I saw my baby on the screen I knew straight away that I was in the right place and these beautiful people who Iâd never met before were going to help me. I knew then that no matter what was going on in my life right now, everything was going to be alright. I've had my first hospital appointment and I've had another scan. When I looked at my scan pictures, I know I made the right decision. The good news is that my mother and family have come around and are standing by me. I also now have new friends at Stanton who are in regular contact with me. And more importantly, I have the birth of my baby to look forward to.â |
