Pervert

“Pervert” is a verb meaning, “to cause to turn aside or away from what is good or true or morally right – to cause to turn aside or away from what is generally done or accepted – to twist the meaning or sense of.”  It is a term that we typically associate with sexual behavior of some sort, but we limit ourselves when we do.  We pervert all sorts of things and never has that been made plainer to me than in something I recently ran across.
