to rise up to advocate for the rights of Muslim girls and women. Through the program we work with local partners in Rwanda,
Burundi, the DRC, and now Burkina Faso, to empower and educate Muslim women on their right to bodily autonomy and quality
education.

the Global Eid Al-Fitri Service and Celebration on Saturday April 22, 2023 from 10 AM - 3:00 PM EDT.

International Updates

#ImamsForShe Global

We are excited to announce the launch of #ImamsForShe Global, a virtual version of our flagship #ImamsForShe ( [link removed] ) program. #ImamsForShe Global will feature khutbahs from Imams, Islamic scholars, and
Islamic academics from around the world who actively advocate for women’s rights, women’s empowerment, and gender equality.

Our first khutbah, given by Mike Mohamed Ghouse ( [link removed] ), an MPV Marriage Officiant and
the Founder and President of Center for Pluralism ( [link removed] ), will be posted on our Youtube Channel
( [link removed] ) on May 15 in honor of the International Day of Families ( [link removed] ).
