John, thank you so much for all you did to help our campaign start the year strong in January.

We hired a full field team. We fought to make sure that facts were heard, while Lee Zeldin spent the month shamelessly lying as a surrogate for Donald Trump in his impeachment defense. We crisscrossed the district, attending meet-and-greets from Shelter Island to Hauppauge, the Brookhaven Town Democratic Committee’s candidate forum, and the Port Jeff Station Women's March.

I know that the events in Washington this past week were dispiriting. But we cannot lose sight of what we're fighting for -- and we have the energy and popular will on our side to win.

Together, we're going to beat Lee Zeldin -- the only member of Trump's impeachment team who's vulnerable in 2020. We're going to give the people of Suffolk County a voice again, and get to work on expanding access to healthcare, restoring the SALT deductions, and taking bold steps to fight climate change so that our children and their children will live in a clean, safe, and thriving world.

So let's keep moving!
