John, did you see me on MSNBC this week? I went on the air to discuss Fox News' settlement with Dominion in the defamation case about Fox spreading lies and misinformation about the 2020 election.

Fox News has had a long history of perpetuating fake narratives, stoking racial tensions and promoting hate speech. And their biggest lie yet has helped prop up right-wing conspiracy theorists and aid in the erosion of our democracy.

I've been on the receiving end of their baseless attacks for years now. In fact, just days after I announced my campaign for U.S. Senate, Fox News began another nasty smear campaign to attack my record. 

But that's never stopped me from holding them accountable for their racist rhetoric and hate speech. And that's why, even though we may never be able to undo the damage that Fox News and other extreme outlets have caused to undermine our democracy, we can't be deterred from trying.

I'm running for Senate to take on these extremists and restore trust in our democracy as we build a progressive future for all of us. Because when you stand on the side of justice, you can't quit when things get tough. 

But I need your help: Fox News isn't going to slow down their attacks anytime soon. And I need to be ready to defend my record and spread my progressive message across the state if I'm going to win this race in the face of future attacks.
