John,
Twenty-four years ago, the horrific tragedy at Columbine High School set us on a path of action to change our nation’s gun culture.
In the years since the memory of the twelve students and teachers who lost their lives sparked a movement to end gun violence.
There have been more than 375 school shootings since Columbine. And as a new generation bears witness to more mass shootings—from Sandy Hook to Uvalde and many more—we must let this anniversary serve as a reminder of the work ahead of us.
We owe our children, grandchildren, and the generations that come after us a commitment to ending the cycle of gun violence.
We have a long road ahead of us, but nothing is impossible.
I hope you will join us in our commitment to ending gun violence and saving lives by signing our petition.
