It's been quite an awful week for awful, sloppy autocrat Ron DeSantis.

While Ft. Lauderdale was under water--due to policies worsened by his willful ignorance on climate change--gas lines in numerous areas of the Sunshine State began to form that looked like something out of the oil crisis in the 1970s. Even right-wing soulmate Marco Rubio is complaining and calling for action.

Meanwhile, permitless-carry shootings are also occurring at a frightening pace and DeSantis is ignoring it all because he's a power-craving ghoul who won't leave his book tour to launch a presidential bid. DeSantis did fly back in the dead of night when he hoped nobody was looking, however, to sign a cruel and dangerous abortion ban.

On the latter point, we got the perfect contrast to DeSantis. In response to his evil act signing the abortion ban, Florida Congressman, Maxwell Frost, got up and gave both an inspiring and blistering response.

Frost's only 26, the youngest Congress member. He's the future; part Latino, part Lebanese, part Black, wholly passionate equality and opportunity for all. Frost is what gives the GOP cold sweats in the dark of night: They know from the midterms & WI Supreme Court race they can't beat him--or those like him--in a fair fight.

We need Frost and many more like him to run for public office. To be the face of opposition to greedy, gross DeSantis-ites. For his incredible speech--and for our future--will you give Rep. Maxwell Frost $5, $10, $25 or whatever you can?

Thank you for ensuring our future is democratic. And Democratic.
