Senator Collins was only able to vote for witness testimony after McConnell had given her a “hall pass.”
First, McConnell needed to confirm that Lamar Alexander would vote “No” so he’d definitely have the votes he needed to block witness testimony – with or without Collins’ vote!
Mainers are tired of Collins’ political theater. That’s why her net approval rating has dropped 51 points since 2017.
We have a real chance to beat her – and take back the Senate for Democrats! – if we give Sara’s race our all.
