We set a goal of getting 100 elected officials and candidates to reject campaign donations from the corporate health care industry, and with your help, we did it.

NNU - Medicare for All!

Huge news.

We officially hit our goal of reaching 100 signers on the Patients Over Profits pledge!! 🥳

Goal Reached!

Not only did we hit this goal; we did it with 11 days to spare! We set a goal of getting 100 elected officials by May 1 (International Workers’ Day) to sign our pledge to reject campaign donations from the corporate health care industry — and thanks to the work of so many INCREDIBLE volunteers, we did it.

Can you help us amplify this HUGE milestone by sharing the news on social media or via email? Every post helps build the power of the pledge and will put us on a path to reaching our next 100 signers!

We know that getting corporate money out of politics is key to passing Medicare for All. For decades, corporate-lobbying groups have tried to stop health care reform and buy off our politicians with millions of dollars in campaign contributions and lobbying.

Our pledge states that a candidate or elected official will not take contributions over $200 from executives, lobbyists, and PACs affiliated with the hospital, insurance, and pharma corporations and instead pledge to put the health, well-being, and safety of their constituents over corporate health industry profits.

If you want to help amplify the Patients Over Profits pledge and celebrate this latest milestone, please share the news on social media far and wide!

None of this would be possible without so many volunteers showing up, sending emails, and making calls to their elected officials. This pledge is driven by every day people in their communities speaking out, and as you can see — it all adds up to make a huge impact.

Thank you again,
