Team -- this year is already shaping up to be a busy one.

Last week, a new Republican challenger announced his plans to "throw [me] out of Congress." And then President Trump brought him onstage at a rally here in New Jersey to rile up the crowd.

We went into overdrive to make sure our grassroots-funded team had the resources to fight back. And if our fundraising numbers from last week are any indication, you won't be intimidated. Neither will I.

To all of you, I owe you my thanks. People like you chipped in whatever you could, from a few dollars on up, and helped us reach a critical goal as we faced a fresh round of attacks. I'm committed to winning the right way -- with a community-focused campaign powered by grassroots support. Your generosity has proven that we can take that approach all the way to November and re-election.

We know this is going to be a tough race -- but with your continued support, we can succeed and keep fighting for New Jersey and working families together.
