Guess what Mitch McConnell's campaign is doing this weekend, team.

As all sorts of wealthy corporate special interests gathered in Miami for the Super Bowl, Mitch decided he couldn’t miss an opportunity to cash in.

The McConnell campaign held a fundraiser yesterday and—get this—they charged OVER TWENTY THOUSAND DOLLARS PER TICKET. That price won’t get you into the big game, but it’s bound to get you in good graces with the Senate majority leader.

If you’re tired of this blatant pay-to-play corruption in our politics, good. So are we. We’re proud that the average donation to our campaign is $36.

That means it takes 572 of us chipping in to match just one of Mitch’s gigantic checks. The good news is that tens of thousands of folks like you are reading this note.
