Friend,
Tonight, the fasting month of Ramadan comes to an end and many of us will celebrate Eid-al-Fitr.
The holy month of Ramadan is a time to reflect on the values of community and compassion, two principles that are critical to our humanity.
I offer best wishes to those who are preparing to celebrate as Ramadan concludes. For those of us who are not celebrating tonight, may we all join together to show our respect and recognize the important role of Muslim Americans in our communities.
May you enjoy a day of peace, unity, and celebration with family and friends.
Eid Mubarak to all,
– Debbie
